De Hyundai IONIQ 5 2023 in deze rijtest video brengt belangrijke veranderingen met zich mee! Eerlijk is eerlijk. Een modeljaar update voor een auto is niet altijd even spannend. De Hyundai IONIQ 2023 komt echter met een zeer welkome update wat je rijervaring daadwerkelijk prettiger maakt. De 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 zoals wij die rijden in de rijtest video is in staat om de accu voor te verwarmen. Dit heet ook wel preconditioneren. Voordat je de elektrische auto aan een snellader hangt worden de batterijen met deze feature van tevoren op temperatuur gebracht. Daardoor kan de auto sneller opladen. In de praktijk betekent dit dat je minder lang bij de snellader staat. Wouter demonstreert de functie in de video. Omdat de Hyundai IONIQ 5 op het E-GMP-platform staat is de EV in staat om razendsnel te snelladen. Deze aandrijflijn is in staat om 400V- en 800V te laden. In de praktijk komt het er op neer dat je bij een 350 kW lader de accu in 18 minuten van 10 naar 80 procent kan laden. Het maximale snellaadvermogen bedraagt 220 kW. Het preconditioneren is niet het enige nieuwtje. Zo is de batterijcapaciteit van de 72,6 kWh accu vergroot naar 77,4 kWh. Ook gaat de 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 door de magische grens van 500 kilometer WLTP. Daarmee komt het opgegeven rijbereik uit op 507 kilometer. In een later stadium komt de IONIQ 5 ook verkrijgbaar met cameraspiegels. Aan de hand van OLED-schermen in het interieur kun je zien wat er naast de auto gebeurd. The 2022 Hyundai Elantra N ($37,199 CAD starting, $31,900 USD starting) marks the first time that an Elantra has been given Hyundai’s full N treatment. As a result, Hyundai have added all sorts of goodies that prioritize not only performance, but fun as well. From a 2.0L turbocharged engine, the Elantra N outputs a strong 276 hp and 289 lb feet of torque when equipped with the 6 speed manual.
